Taurus Storm Drain Filter
Over Grate Filter for Runoff Control
The patented Taurus Over Grate Drain Filter is an easy and economical way to control and filter out materials as they enter your drain. Designed for fast installation, these storm drain covers fit directly on top of the drain through the use of our propriety fastening system, providing effective protection without having to move heavy grates. The Taurus storm drain filter is equipped to remove sediment and debris from your runoff. Similar to other grate covers and drain protection products, the storm drain cover has helped sites to stay in compliance with local and federal regulations.
Street-sweeper friendly, the Taurus Storm Drain Filter is constructed from 10% Monofilament with an Apparent Opening Size (AOS) of 40 US Std. Sieve. The overflow window is constructed from bi-planar diamond mesh (45% open area, hole size of 0.094 x 0.094). Our design is covered under U.S. Patent No. 10,053,383 B2.
