Boom Accessories


oil containment boomFor moving water areas, all oil boom come standard with components that equip them to effectively operate in areas with currents, waves or tides. While boom featured here are a standard for any location with moving water conditions, we also offer additional oil boom for calm waters (marinas, lakes, small ponds) and demanding water areas (offshore or coastline areas). Oil Boom Installation


  1. Lay out sections of oil boom along your shoreline

  2. If Multiple Sections are Being Used, Connect Sections Together:

    • 1st Connection: Slide connectors located at the ends of each boom section

    • 2nd Connection: Grommets located along the depth of the skirt

    • 3rd Connection: Bottom Shackles (located on the bottom of the curtain)

  3. Once all sections have been connected, tow the boom into position (Tow Bridles can be use to help distribute weight evenly during this process)

  4. If applicable, anchor the boom in your location (Anchor Kit)

  5. If the bottom skirt has remained tied up, release the skirt to complete the installation Process
